The Actor
Enter the exciting world of acting where there are many benefits including self confidence and public speaking. Students will explore the world of film acting, working in front of the lense, hitting marks, emotional and physical continuity, creating fresh performances with each take. Acting techniques, acting truthfully, working moment-to-moment. Scene study, breaking down a scene, putting themselves into character through action. Voice understandings and how important the usage of vocal tools are. Commercial acting, making the product believable and the reason for vignettes. Students will be coached for auditions, getting the agent, booking the job and will develop the terminology needed to be successful on set. |

The Model
In our workshops, kids and teens will learn the basics of the modeling industry, along with the basic skills of becoming confident young men and women. Workshop sessions will focus on topics such as developing your image, catwalk techniques and turns, posing for the camera, latest fashion trends, the art of hair, make-up, skin care, health and nutrition, importance of exercising, poise, and how important posture is. Showbiz model kids and teens participate in runway shows and have the opportunity to meet with the top modeling agencies in the industry. |

The Dancer
Dancing has made a strong come back and here at Showbiz we develop the students with the latest dance trends in the industry. Specializing in areas such as ballroom, salsa, tango, meringue, modern, hip-hop and jazz. Your child will learn different rythms, prescribed and improvised dance steps, and a series of motions and steps to different dance styles. Each dance program concludes with a performance for the parents. Explore the magical world of dance where children can express themselves freely. |

The Singer
Through singing you will embark on an extraordinary voyage of self discovery. In a nurturing atmosphere you’ll learn more than technique; you will dare take risks, soar above your imagined limitations, and discover the artist within. Explore the areas of musical theater, solo performance, show tunes, billboard hits, top 40 as well as breathing techniques, stage presence, pitch and vibrato, musical voice, and your image for the singing industry. Singers will have the ability to audition with agents and managers who are active in the singing industry. This program is for professionals or beginners alike who want to expand their musical talents. |
