This Academy is the result of passion and dedication in helping children with dreams of becoming an actor, a model, a singer, a dancer, or
just appearing on TV come true.
That's why my partner and I decided to create Showbiz Kids And Teens Talent And Placement Academy. A place where children receive the best of the best, while building self confidence, with a full spectrum of industry standard workshops and seminars.along with auditioning with agents, casting directors and managers local and national. Most importantly where they have fun doing it all under one roof.
As a Mom who managed a child working in the entertainment industry. I made many mistakes but I also gained a lot of knowledge. I have experienced the ins and outs of the business and I want to share that with our clients. So whether your child is here to build self confidence or have a career. We want to ensure they have a variety of opportunities. |

SARA PREMISLER
Ms. Premisler a “born and bred” Brooklynite
followed her family down here to Florida but in her heart she will always consider herself a New Yorker. She was bitten by the “acting
bug” at a young age and was nicknamed by her family “Sara Heartburn”.
While
in New York she attended the famed “American Academy of Dramatic Arts”. When
she came to Florida she attended Florida Atlantic University where she received her
Masters in Fine Arts in Directing.
She has taught at both The
Schools of the Arts as artist- in- residence as well at the Kravis Center,
Lake Worth Playhouse, many after school programs as well as countless other
workshops and classes.
Sara is a professional actress
and director and is a member of the Screen Actors Guild, Actors Equity Association
and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. She has
appeared in television, film, and stage productions. Her directing experience includes regional
and community-based productions; most recently a production of Fiddler on the
Roof at the Jupiter Maltz Theatre.

MICHAEL LEEDS
Michael Leeds wrote and
directed Broadway Musical, Swinging On A Star that was nominated for a
Tony Award for Best Musical.
Off-Broadway he directed and
choreographed Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah- The Songs of Allan Sherman,
for which he was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for Best Director and Best
Choreographer.
For film, he has choreographed
End of Summer,
starring Jacqueline Bisset and Peter Weller and co-wrote with Linda Yellen
The Simian Line, starring William Hurt, Lynn Redgrave, Tyne Daly, Harry
Connick Jr. and Cindy Crawford. Mr. Leeds has also taught for AMDA the
American Musical and Dramatic Academy, CAP 21 out of New York University and
Playwrights/Directors Musical Theater Program out of NYU as well. We are
excited about Mr. Leeds professional experience and are eager to see what he
can teach our kids.

KARA PHILIPPOU
KarA Philippou is an Executive Director at Show Biz Kids and Teens in West Palm Beach. Originally from the Washington DC Metropolitan Area and Northern Virginia, she has modeled in Washington DC as well as in New York City, and has appeared in print as well as on the runway.
After marrying and having two sons, Kara owned and operated her own home-based childcare business, and was a “professional mom” for 15 years. She started a career in sales working for companies such as, The Washington Post Newspapers and Toshiba Business Solutions.
Kara moved to Florida in 2006 with her husband Photis and kitty Leo, and has been a part of the Show Biz Kids and Teens team ever since. She thoroughly enjoys working with children, and loves South Florida. Kara is always scouting for the next child star or just offer the gift of confidence to the children she selects. Kara has placed many kids on TV, in commercials, fashion shows, and print work for companies such as Wal-Mart, Macy’s, Toys R us, Parenting Magazine, and many more. Her goal in life is to help children pursue their dreams of becoming actors, dancers, models or singers, while having fun at the same time. |

AMANDA ACOSTA
Ms. Amanda Acosta is the Assistant School Director. Amanda was born in Yonkers, New York but after living there for eight years Amanda’s family moved to West Palm Beach, Fl to be closer to her Parents. Growing up she always loved fashion! You could always catch her shopping at the mall in her spare time. In 2007, she entered the Miss West Palm/Ft. Lauderdale pageant. It was a great experience for her. Amanda loves to dance and is also a make‐up artist. She moved to Tampa last year and got a job at the John Robert Powers studio as a promoter and receptionist, she decided to move backhome to be close to her family again. Amanda loves and enjoys the entertainment field. She plans to further her career one day in the same field working with kids and teens. “It's my passion.” she says! MARTIN CAMACHO
Instructor Martin Camacho, was born in San Salvador, El Salvador and came to the United States at the
age of 14. He is a graduate of Marist College, in Poughkeepsie, New
York with a B.A. in Public Administration. He
began a career in communications in Yonkers, New York as Assistant Executive Director for a non-for-profit
organization. He worked with a number of elected officials as a
campaign coordinator and public relations specialist.
He began creating television commercials for politicians in 1992.
His first television show production was “Esta Noche Contigo (With You
Tonight),” a weekly variety show for Cablevision in Westchester, County, New York.
In 1999, he began directing and editing
of a number of television shows for CTN network. “Salmo 150,” “Impacto
de Gracia,” “Nothing But Videos,” “Here and Now,” are among the many television show Martin Camacho produced for WFGC-TV in West
Palm Beach, Florida. In 2000, he began working on music videos with artist
like Eminem, Jennifer
Lopez, and Marcos Witt among others.
Also in 2003 be created Camacho Productions, an independent production
company that features commercials, television production,
film, and artist development. Camacho Productions has worked closely
with La Familia Network, WFGC-TV 61, Mega TV Canal 57, Mi Pueblo TV 12.1, CTN
Network, CTNi, Enlace, La Cadena Del Milagro, CTV
– Canal 48, and Ortiz Media Group. In 2008, Martin Camacho helped
launch two television networks, Visual Arts Network and Impacto De Gracia TV.

WENZOR PAUL
Wenzor Paul was born in Miami, Fl. In 1996 Wenzor spent his childhood in Queens, N.Y. Then returned back to West Palm Beach, Fl where he attended Palm Beach Community College where he specialized in Childcare and Journalism.
He had a passion for dancing due to his mother’s persistency for music. After his mother passing away the only thing that kept Wenzor focused was working with kids and teaching them how to dance. He went on to teach at Cholee Lakes Elementary as a counselor sports leader, SACC activity leader, and dance instructor. He also taught dance and Physical Education at Leadership Academy West. At Heritage Edge Elementary he worked as a dance instructor and a counselor. Currently he is working at 24 hour fitness as a Hip Hop instructor.
Wenzor has received awards for Dance Instructor of the Year, YMCA Choreographer, Best Improved Counselor of the Year, Best Volunteer of the Year, Blue Ribbon Award, and Greenacres Summer Camp contest winner. |

AMANDA DAY
Amanda Day was born and raised here in West Palm Beach Florida. She has not only walked the runway for some of the biggest names in names fashion, but is also an award winning fashion designer.
Amanda recently graduated from Miami International University of Art & Design. There she won best evening gown award 2009. She has been modeling for over 11 years professionally throughout Florida. Amanda has taught runway and modeling technique for the past four summers with Palm Beach Fashion Week.
Her resume includes traveling to the Dominican Republic for Oscar De La Renta, CHANEL’s seasonal shows in Palm Beach, as well as Valentino, Graff Diamonds, Carolina Herrera, Angel Sanchez, Chole, Saks Fifth Ave, Neiman Marcus, Nordstroms, Bloomingdales, Bill Blass, Fiandica, Derek Lam, Donna Karen, etc.
In addition to runway shows Amanda has done catalog work for Lilly Pulitzer, editorial work for Palm Beach Illustrated, and acting for an upcoming episode for USA network show Burn Notice. Amanda is also a talented stylist and hair and make up artist. |

KAREN
Karen was born and raised in Windsor, England. She has an extensive background in modeling and drama, having graduated from the London Academy of Modeling at the tender age of eight. Her experiences include: runway, print, tradeshows, and TV commercials.
Karen attended Barbara Speake Stage School in London, England, where she trained in dance and drama. At sixteen she studied child psychology, earning a City and Guilds degree. After graduating college, Karen worked in London for the fashion Industry as a house model for various well-known showrooms.
Along with her modeling, Karen at 21 represented her city in the Miss United Kingdom beauty pageant. She then traveled to the United States, where she attended Broward Community College and studied to become a dental technician. Karen now resides in West Palm Beach. She has two children; both are involved in the arts. Her interests are skiing, photography, and spending time at the gym. She says, “a healthy heart is a healthy mind”. |
